About Me: I have been a town councillor since it’s formation in 2016 and was privileged to become Leader in 2018. I chair the Strategy and Resources Committee and I am also chair of the Town Centre Regeneration Partnership. I became involved with the Council to put something back into my local community. I am passionate about our Town, its park and the massive opportunities we have. Royal Sutton Coldfield is a great place to live, work and raise a family. My wife is a consultant in the NHS in Birmingham and I have three children who have been bought up in the Royal Town.
I was born and bought up in East Anglia and moved to Sutton in 1999. I am an accountant by profession and advise growing businesses on their funding and strategy. I am passionate about sport and music. I am currently a trustee of the Sutton Coldfield Charitable trust and of the advisory committee of the West Midlands co-investment Fund. Historically have been a council member of the local chamber of commerce and of the finance committee of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
