Richard is the Royal Sutton Coldfield Town Councillor and Birmingham City Councillor for Sutton Reddicap ward. He is a proud Suttonian having been born in the Town and living here for most of his life with his wife and two daughters.
Prior to being elected as Councillor, Richard ran a family tooling distribution business in Birmingham with his brother for many years before selling it in January 2020.
He has volunteered for a number of local organisations including Hope Food and the Town Hall Vaccination Centre and currently helps to run the Sutton Coldfield Litter Action Group which has recently been nominated for a King’s Award for Voluntary Service.
Richard is also a governor at New Hall Primary School and sits on the Royal Sutton Coldfield BID as the Town Council representative.
He is committed to securing the very best for the Royal Town in everything he does to the benefit of both today’s residents and future generations of Suttonians.
