Claire Bridges

Claire is a life-long Suttonian with a professional career comprising a portfolio of diverse interests. Starting out as town planner specialising in regeneration, strategic policy and sustainable development, her career moved from local to central government where she led local-to-national community engagement and partnership initiatives. This was followed by a stint working with SMEs and Corporate Business across various business sectors and Local Enterprise Partnerships driving economic growth across the West Midlands and South-East. 

Claire has simultaneously committed to NED roles. She was the Chair of RTPI Partnership Boards at Birmingham City University and University of Reading and is currently Vice Chair at University of South Africa. She was also Chair of St Paul’s Hostel tackling homeless solutions in Worcester. She is currently Chair of the Royal Sutton Coldfield Community Town Hall Trust transforming the building into a community-based Arts Centre for the town. Claire is also Chair of the Tudor Community Sports Trust raising funds to provide all-weather tennis courts and a restored crown green bowling site.
