Paul Faulkner is the Co-Founder of Element45, an advisory business that works with a range of clients providing Board-level support and leadership services.   

Prior to this Paul has held roles as Chief Executive of Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest Football Clubs, as well as being CEO of the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce and Chief of Staff for the Richardson family business.

Outside of work Paul is a Trustee of Kids’ Village, a charity aiming to build the UK’s first holiday village offering respite breaks to sick children and their families.  He has previously held pro-bono roles as Chair of Sport Birmingham, Vice-Chair of Town Hall Symphony Hall Birmingham and Trustee of Cure Leukaemia, Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity and the Lord Mayor of Birmingham’s Charity. 

In 2024 he received the award of ‘Brummie of the Year’.

Paul lives in Sutton Coldfield and is married with two young sons.
