To celebrate the best of our Royal Town, Royal Sutton Coldfield Town Council is inviting photography enthusiasts to enter the ‘Soul of Sutton’ photo competition.
Open to both amateur and experienced photographers, people of all ages are invited to submit their favourite images that capture the essence and ‘Soul’ of Sutton Coldfield.
The competition is free to enter. Residents are encouraged to capture new, unique and exciting images that best represent Sutton Coldfield. Participants must be a resident of Sutton Coldfield to enter and can submit up to 6 images in total.
Residents are invited to enter under the following themes:
- Life and people in Sutton Coldfield
- Landmarks
- Sutton through the seasons
The closing date for entries is Midnight on Wednesday 14 August 2024. Cllr John Perks, Mayor of the Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield will select the winning entries. Winners will be notified directly on Friday 16 August and announced on social media on Monday 19 August. * Updated 15.08.2024 – (please note we’ve been overwhelmed by the number of wonderful entries received and wanted to make you aware that it may take us a little longer to shortlist. The first prize winner will receive a £100 One4all Gift Card, the 2nd prize winner will receive a £50 One4all Gift Card and the 3rd prize winner will receive a £25 One4all Gift Card.
The winning images will be featured on the Town Council website, social media channels, marketing materials and within our email newsletter.

All entries must be sent via email to enquiries@suttoncoldfieldtowncouncil.gov.uk or delivered by post to 62 Anchorage Road, Sutton Coldfield, B74 2PG, with your name, the location and a short description of the photo. You could also direct message us on social media or tag us on Instagram @RoyalSutColTC quoting ‘SoulofSutton’ with your details and a short description.
